Founded in 2005 by brothers Mads and Mikkel Kornerup, Shamballa Jewels was born out of a desire to make discreet jewelry. Their joint determination came to fruition when they created the Shamballa bracelet, the company’s design icon. The iconic bracelet is made in 18-karat gold with 10 mm beads in diamonds, gold or precious stones, braided on a rope with an ancient macramé technique. From there they continued to develop the iconic design, adding different sizes of beads, with or without braiding, adding more possibilities to create a very individual piece of jewelry.
