The house has its origins in 1864 when Ramón Cuervo opened his first luxury jewelry store in downtown Havana. Armando Río y Cuervo, with the help of his brothers, took over the management of the jewelry store founded by his uncle Ramón in 1882 (hence the name). In less than fifty years, the brand achieved such a reputation and credibility that it decided to expand its production. Today its headquarters are located in Lugano (Switzerland). All models are presented in an elegant wooden case that becomes a luxurious humidor for cigars, created exclusively for the firm.
